Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover has been updated and adapted to deliver the finest results when applied with a dual action polisher. Pinnacle’s diminishing abrasives are tempered to break down slowly and evenly under the motion of the oscillating pad. A dual action polisher provides just the right motion and friction to maximize the performance and working time of these abrasives. You get smooth, swirl-free paint in an easy-to-use, paint-friendly formula!
16 oz. Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish (AFP)
Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish is modeled after the fine abrasive dust jewelers use to polish diamonds and gems to a brilliant shine. To get the finest shine, you have to use the finest abrasives. The tiny diminishing abrasives in Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish move over the paint, smoothing imperfections from every angle. Dullness and light swirls disappear without a trace.
Porter Cable 7424 Variable Speed Polisher
Built to last, this rugged 3.7 amp polisher has 100% ball bearing construction. The spiral and bevel gearing provides for smooth operation and efficient transfer of power. A variable speed dial sets the orbit rate between 2,500 and 6,000 orbits per minute for precise control. The random orbit action of the special six-inch polishing pad provides a smooth, swirl-free finish.
CCS 6.5 inch Orange Light Cutting Pad
This pad is the perfect all around pad. It works wonderfully with swirl removers to smooth out light to moderate paint imperfections. This firm, dense foam is the most versatile and popular pad we carry.
CCS 6.5 inch Gray Finishing Pad
Least abrasive. Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. Use with machine glaze or finishing polish. Ultra-soft and incredible for a putting on that finishing touch. Use the gray pad with Pinnacle AFP.

Both Advanced Swirl Remover and Advanced Finishing Polish were formulated to be used with the Porter Cable 7424 Variable Speed Polisher. This user-friendly machine allows anyone to remove swirls and scratches without causing any damage to the clear coat. As a dual action polisher, it has a specific dual motion that virtually eliminates the risk of burning the paint because it does not produce as much heat as a rotary polisher. Pinnacle’s chemists took this into account when they developed diminishing abrasives that require less heat to break down but still provide enough work time to accomplish each polish’s purpose. Ample lubrication allows you to polish longer with the Porter Cable to get the results you desire. Repeated trials with the Porter Cable indicated that both polishes respond well to the dual rotation of this machine.
